What do you think of the idea of a referral program to get new clients? Eg, if you send a new client my way I give you a fixed amount or percent of the total job's cost as a finder's fee. Is this a good idea?
Any other consequences I might be missing? I think in the US you need to send people a 1099 form if you send them $600 or more in a year, so that might be something to consider.
