Coders: How much do you rely on AI for coding?

Coders and software devs, how much are you using AI for development? Do you feel like it's made you a better or worse coder?

Personally, there are times where AI can be helpful but also times where it can get in the way. It's helpful for learning new things, such as recently I've been working with AI to help me learn Laravel. However, when working on anything visual, like CSS, I find AI usually gets in the way.

What are your thoughts? Is AI good for software developers? Do you worry about getting too dependent on it?

I used CoPilot last year. I was working on legacy code so it was not all that useful. I also used Resharper in the past and found that very useful. The job that was using CoPilot also monitored our code check ins and code pushes. Those with the most pushes were seen as the most useful. Though we always found bugs during QA.
