Anyone think music generation tools like Suno and Udio will one day replace real musical artists? Right now they sound pretty real, but I think there will always be a place for real artists.

We might even see real "artists" who can't sing or play an instrument but who just get on stage and dance while the AI sings. You think it can happen?

I think there will always be a place for real music artists, but I also think people will start listening to more AI music as it starts getting better.

I think you're right though that we'll see artists who can't sing just lip-syncing along to the AI. If I go to a live show, I want the singer singing live, not lip-syncing with an AI.
